Welcome to the Department of Animal Science, a unit in the College of Agriculture, Ambi. With the untiring efforts of D. Y. Patil Education Academy and generous support from the M.P.K.V. Rahuri the College has achieved another milestone and the most wonderful place to study!

Department has well qualified and dedicated faculties with well developed laboratories. We are committed to providing outstanding and relevant academic programmes and appropriate practical training in animal science and Dairy technology through experiential learning program and exposure to recent technologies by visiting dairy industries.
